Backpacking in Thailand!

Catching the backpacking bug...- Thailand.

It's almost the one year anniversary since i set of an amazing adventure to Thailand. I never really blogged about it last year but i did make a video of it all- World Challenge Droylsden Academy Team- Thailand 2014. So give it a click and a watch, it took me a ridiculous amount of time to edit, i ain't no pro...

In July 2014 i took of an amazing 3 week backpacking adventure where if found myself completely out of my comfort zone.

Seriously, it was such an eye opener. I am one who loves traveling but the way me and my team were able to immerse ourselves into the culture so much made it a once in a lifetime experience. I most definitely caught the travel bug... I'm not going to lie it had it's ups and downs like peeing in the jungle and not being able to shower have a proper shower for days (and when we did the hostel showers were not so good... i'm talking about being able to sit on the toilet and have a shower.). Oh, not to forget being eaten alive by mosquito's. But the positives certainly outweighed the negatives.

I was a bag of nerves before i left because i really had no idea what to expect and the fact me and my team controlled everything from accommodation, to travel and even to the whole budget was really daunting. However, as cliche as it sounds- its made me a better person. One thing I've took away from this experience is take every opportunity life throws at you. Yes the fundraising over £3,000 was damn hard and being away from home for three weeks made me home sick, it was all worth it in the end.

I'll leave you with some snapshots of the trip and i'm more than happy to read comments or even answer questions:)

L'Oreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Micellar Solution- Review

Cleansing water- worth the hassle or not?

This cleansing water is a dupe for Bioderma Sensibio H2O - Micelle Solution (formerly Crealine) which was 'all the rage' in 2013. I will admit i have never used Bioderma because it isn't available in the UK (you can purchase it from link i have provided) but i guess you cant really go wrong with a dupe?

After finishing my first bottle of L'Oreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Micellar Solution i quickly repurchased another one. My first thoughts were 'It's just water how good could it be?'. Maybe your thinking the same but i don't think you can really go wrong with a make up remover, cleanser and toner in one! If your lazy with your skin care routine like me -which reminds me i must shake of my laziness in 2014. When i use the product ,which is usually at the end of the day, I apply a small amount of it on a circular cotton pad and wipe it round my face as it 'dissolves' the make up (sometimes i repeat this process depending on the amount of make up)  I then use a separate one for my eyes and lips just pressing and wiping gently. After this my skin almost instantly feels soothed and refreshed, don't get me wrong i love make up but my it doesn't half make skin feel like it cant breath; if that makes sense...

I really do highly recommend if you have very sensitive skin which reacts strongly with the rubbing of face washes and make up removing wipes, which sometime you have to use several of and decent ones are pricey. At only £3.32 you cant really go wrong eh? My bottle lasted weeks.

Have you used this, what are you thoughts? or are you a Bioderma lover?
Let me know in the comments, i love reading them:)

Have you read my post on my all time favorite skin product; http://riaevans.blogspot.co.uk/2013_04_01_archive.html

WHAT'S IN MY BAG?

Hellooooooo, how are you? I hope your well and stuff:) before I go on with myself, I'd like to tell you what I have in my bag *drum roll please*

My bag was bought in March last year from River Island for around £60. I don't think they have it anymore :(.

1- Not the most exciting think to keep in your bag but I guess it crucial to carry round. Living in Britain it rains ALL THE TIME. This umbrella is from Primark and around £3, it's lasted quite a bit considering my last one flew of the L shaped handle straight over a fence and landed in the vale covered by lost of greenery...*note: don't swing your brolly round in the middle of a field.I loveeeee owls! The patten is lots of little owls in blue and beige on a purple back ground. I think I'm going to have to buy a new one soon:( it's getting a little rusty.

2- HAND FOOD by soap&glory. I literally have 5 pocket size bottles of this baby and a big one. I'm not complaining seen as though its supper hydrating and none greasy! My hands get chapped in the cold months but are generally dry anyway. I find this smells amazing and the perfect size to carry around.

3- Antibacterial hand gel. I seem like a clean freak but if use the school toilet or a public toilet this is applied in a dash! I feel cleaner when I have this and is handy in case of emergency where you might have dirty hands. Who wants dirty hands anyway?

4- Soap&glory Girligo spray on body moisturising mist. I carry this little bottle of body spray just so I can spritz a bit on during the day. Whether its after PE or if I forget perfume in the morning because I'm in a rush (this happens most of the time) It smells sweet but no sickly sweet. I've kinda forgot what it smells like, I've got a blocked nose:( your meant to spray this on after a shower but its nice for just in the day.

5- I always try and carry water. You never know when you might be thirsty? Anyway waters healthily and cleansing to the body. I don't really mind anything as long as it hydrates me. I normally just refill it with tap water, cheap and easy.

6- My purse is Cath Kidston. I bought in the sale quite a bit ago! I pretty sure it was around the £15ish mark. I think patterns really pretty. I love Cath Kidstons designs their so simple and vintage. Just my style haha:)

7- Everybody has Vaseline? Everybody's lips need a lift sometime in the day! After all chapped lips hurt a l o t. I really have chapped lips, I have a horrible habit of biting skin of my lips. This one gives a tint of pink which is nice and subtle. My challenge is to finish the wholeeee tin. I've never done that. Have you?

8- I carry round my Gym Card, Advantage cards and donor card. My gym cards so I never lose it which I have in the past.. The gym people thought I was someone call Kelly Bradley or something wooooops. I love advantage cards because points just mount up and up. Lastly my donor card. I believe that when I'm dead I'm obviously not going to need my organs so why let them rot when some one can have a life? But that's a whole other topic.

I really hope you enjoyed reading this. I have no idea what to do next I have no idea! Comment suggestions below, thank-you for reading (if you read up to here YAY you didn't get bored!)
